My Pledge to the Citizens of Guadalupe County

As a candidate for Guadalupe County Commissioner of Precinct 4, I believe citizens have a right to communicate with their elected officials, offer input into local policy-making, and simply have more transparency in government.

I believe if your elected representatives are only talking with, and listening to, that portion of the public with whom they agree, then the governance they provide will fail to lift the county up as a whole.

If elected, I pledge to:

  • Set aside, every week, open door office hours for individuals to share concerns and suggestions;
  • Host quarterly public town halls for precinct 4, while encouraging other commissioners to do the same; and
  • Provide regular newsletters with the latest Commissioners Court news, actions, and citizen-submitted communications.
